Using A Beka Heritage of Freedom as our core curriculum, students will study American history from the era of exploration to the Obama administration. Class participation and thoughtful engagement with the facts of history make this course a foundation for students’ future assessments of current events. “…There is nothing new under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 1:9) This truth provides students with an advantage in the future. By a studying thoughtfully and through our worldview lens, students are better prepared for their life and studies.  We will be using supplemental materials provided by the teacher including map work. Students can expect two formal presentations and one mock trial throughout the year in addition to weekly reading and assignments.
