Anatomy and physiology is the macro and microscopic study of the structure and functions of the 11 major systems of the amazing human machine. Class meetings will include lecture and lab experiences. Throughout the 16 modules, laboratory work will be incorporated to enhance student understanding of how each of these systems work in concert with one another. The labs will focus on using the microscope to study cells and human tissue, dissection of a sheep’s brain, eye, heart, kidney, and injected fetal pig.
