  • Home labs (per student): 1 liter bottle w/lid, soda cap, bolt, Gatorade type bottle with lid, shoebox, banana, zip-loc baggie, band-aid (will be needed throughout the year)

8th Physical Science

9th Biology

  • 1″ 3 ring binder
  • 10 dividers with tabs labeled as: Class info., Syllabi, Quizzes, Tests, Handouts, Projects, Dissections, Misc.

10th Chemistry

  • Calculator TI30 at least. Your teen does NOT need a graphing calculator. Make sure it can
    perform scientific notation (exponent key) and logarithms (log key). These sell for around $10.
  • Home labs (per group): distilled water, white vinegar (16 oz), and head of red cabbage (may
    freeze for multiple uses).

Saxon 8/7 and Algebra 1/2

  • 3 subject college ruled spiral bound notebook
  • Spiral bound graph paper notebook

Algebra I, Algebra II, and Advanced Math

  • Scientific calculator for Algebra 1,TI-84 Plus graphing calculator for Algebra II and Advanced Math only

Geometry

Bring to class every week:

  • 3 ring binder and loose leaf paper for working problems in text
  • Folder (3 prong or 2 pocket) or notebook for keeping notes organized

  • Calculator – should be at least a scientific calculator with cube root and trigonometric ratios (sin, cos, tan)

  • X-acto knife or retractable knife

  • Tackle box or shoe box to carry supplies in.
  • (Please feel free to substitute any of these supplies with items you already have at home and add any favorite mediums of your choice. If you have siblings in the class you may all use the same materials.)
