Karin and her husband, Steve, revel in being the homeschooling parents of five children: Dan, Stacey,
Amanda, Sonia, and Ben. The oldest two have graduated from Cedarville University, Amanda and Sonia
are students at Cedarville and Lee Universities, respectively, and Ben is still homeschooled. Karin loves
teaching at home and in the classroom, and for the past twenty years has taught a variety of subjects in
various co-ops, schools, YMCAs, and educational hybrids, since graduating from Miami University with a
B.S. in English/Communications Education and an M.S. in Higher Education from Indiana University at
Bloomington. She passionately enjoys reading, scrapbooking, cooking, working out, spending time in
God’s glorious creation, and being with her family and friends. Through teaching, she desires to pass on
to the next generation a love for God, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Word of God, and an appreciation
for truth and beauty wherever it can be found.
